Lucky number 7....months that is!

Yes...Kash Beckham is 7 months old and getting more rotten (spoiled that it is), by the day! Yes...he is the first grand-baby and great-grand-baby on both sides. Need I say more? He is clapping, screaming, growling, growing teeth by the day (6 and counting), and is now ready for finger foods!
Kash had his latest photo shoot with the classic summertime favorite....watermelon!

Yes...Mommy also updated his monthly pics too!

"I have a question!"
We enjoyed the fourth with family, and the spoiling that took place at both houses!! But we didn't forget about Uncle Thad during all of our 4th family fun...how blessed we are to have someone like him defending our country! We love you Sergeant Beckendorf!
Love to all!

Thad B...who...Sergeant B!

We got to spend some QT with our favorite soldier..oh, excuse me...Sergeant, for 2 weeks! Between the catch-up sleep, friends and family flooding in, and much needed civilian life refresher courses at the Diner, Wal-Mart and anywhere and everywhere he requested us to take him...Thad was about ready to go back and finish his time in Kuwait.
We weren't so ready though:

We pulled it off! Our soldier surprised the entire family. (Except me of course...his accomplice!) Yes...I picked him up from the airport and hid him in the back of my car...only to surprise Mom and Dad soon after. I wish I would of taken a picture of their faces when they opened up the back of the car and he was hiding inside! I usually suck at surprises, so I have to pat myself on the back for this one! Keep praying that he stays "Army Strong" until his return this Fall.
Love to all!

Firsts...Firsts...Firsts...

Uncle Thad is home to visit us from Kuwait, and we could not be more excited, blessed, overjoyed, thankful....the list goes on and on. Prayers have been answered...he is home safe! (Even if it is only for 2 weeks)

First time to meet my Uncle Thad...that I can remember at least!

Thank you for my USA outfit Lala! Thad was so glad to see me supporting my favorite Uncle...Even if he is my only Uncle!

Me and my Mom missed him...I brought my camel that Thad sent me too!
 On to our next first....
First Day of School
Yes...I need all of the attention please! The first grand-baby on both sides....what do you expect? My new friends cried and it made me cry too....I am very empathetic!
Guess what else I did for the first time??
I rode in the grocery cart like a big boy!
Well....I guess this goes to show that Kash is doing something new every day! Mommy has her camera ready at all times to document all of these "firsts."
Love to all!!

Six Months and More...in the making!

Long time no type! Sorry about that everyone, but I am back!
I must pat myself on the back with this one because I have a six month old, and I am still alive!
Kash is nearly 20lbs and I feel every bit of it every time he is on my hip! He has had a lot of firsts lately...first swim, first sleep over at Sassy and Pappa's house, first time eating baby food, first go around at being sick, first teeth, and first "somewhat" understandable baby babble!
I must also brag that he is quoted as winning The Best Personality award with his doctor!
Check out a few of our most recent pics:

Did I forget to mention that we had a double birthday? Yes, Kash turned 6 months and I turned 27 on the same day! Check out his cute birthday outfit from Sassy!

Love to all!!

My 1st Mommy's Day!

Well, it must be official now...I am a Mommy! My special weekend with Kash started with a special day for a special friend. Patrick's sister got married!
Mom dressed me in my sailor suit!

Happy Mommy's Day Mommy!

Me and Daddy, dressed to impress!

Me and Sassy stayed inside and played...it was too hot for our taste!

The Mom's...and Dad!!

The Man of Honor!
I finished off my day with some tasty Italian food...courtesy of MB!!

Sunday was a day of relaxation and more family time...poolside! Yes, Kash had another first....first time modeling his trunks and matching hat for his first swim session at Lala and Poppe's house!! Thanks to his fabulous Auntie Coco, we were able to document every splash!!
Enough pics already....I'm ready to get in!

Probably the most pool prepared baby of his day!

The famous curled toes!
Yes...french kissing is my new thing! (I think my brother Guns and Sis taught me this!)

Freestyle is officially mastered....breaststroke next!

Me and my Mom and Dad....soaking up some sun!
Mommy and Me on her special day!
Well....I celebrated and survived my first Mother's Day! We ended our weekend of family fun with much needed aloe, Whataburger and sleep!!
Until next time.....I need my beauty rest!!

We have a 5 month old!

Wow, how time has flown by! Our sweet little Kash is 5 months old! It makes me reflect back on where we started...
Weighing in at 7lbs 11oz, Kash Beckham Pemberton was born after much drama in the delivery room...every push, every scream, every tear, every painful moment was all worth this precious angel:

Kash is now 18 lbs and counting!! He can sit up, stand up (with assistance of course), spit up and never hushes up!! With a full head of curls and a full heart of love...Kash is truly more than we could have ever planned for, prayed for and prepared for!!
Yes, I can sit up!!

I sleep in my bed every night for 11 hours!! Mom says I am a big boy now!

Yes...I eat baby food now! Peas....yuck!
Well...we are approaching toddler time, and couldn't be more excited!
Love to all!

Easter 2011....Pemberton style!

Well...Kash celebrated his first Easter, from both near and far! We are blessed to have both sides of our family close, so we joined Sassy and Papa at the M4, for the first part of Easter, and celebrated a combined Easter and Poppe's birthday celebration on Sunday! Needless to say, by the time that we got back home and unpacked...we were all "Eastered out!" (Especially Mr. Gunns!!)
The M4 was the start of our long weekend.....and boy was it a nice, much needed, break from the stresses of life here at home. Between tractor and lawn mower rides with Papa, back porch sittin with Sassy, and four- wheeler rides with Mommy and Daddy, Kash was just as tired as Mr. Gunns by the time we left. We even caught him trying to drive....take a look at life at the M4 from Kash's perspective:

Well...I guess you could say that Kash is our "country boy!"

We ended our Easter weekend, by stopping by Lala and Poppe's house to see what the Easter Bunny had brought for Kash's first Easter! Between the hugs and kisses from his Lala and Poppe, his Auntie Coco (bunny ears and all!) and his Great-Grandpa: Pop, his Great-Grandmother: Susan, and his Great-Uncle: Brian... and not to mention the excitement of seeing the gifts that the Easter Bunny surprised him with...Kash had a blessed first Easter with those that love him the most, both at the M4 and back home in Tomball!

Now back to reality....today's reality is dog grooming to remove the hundreds of stickers that Gunner and Sis decided to bring home as mementos in their fur and many much needed naps for baby Kash (and maybe Mommy too!)

Love to all!!
