Easter 2011....Pemberton style!

Well...Kash celebrated his first Easter, from both near and far! We are blessed to have both sides of our family close, so we joined Sassy and Papa at the M4, for the first part of Easter, and celebrated a combined Easter and Poppe's birthday celebration on Sunday! Needless to say, by the time that we got back home and unpacked...we were all "Eastered out!" (Especially Mr. Gunns!!)
The M4 was the start of our long weekend.....and boy was it a nice, much needed, break from the stresses of life here at home. Between tractor and lawn mower rides with Papa, back porch sittin with Sassy, and four- wheeler rides with Mommy and Daddy, Kash was just as tired as Mr. Gunns by the time we left. We even caught him trying to drive....take a look at life at the M4 from Kash's perspective:

Well...I guess you could say that Kash is our "country boy!"

We ended our Easter weekend, by stopping by Lala and Poppe's house to see what the Easter Bunny had brought for Kash's first Easter! Between the hugs and kisses from his Lala and Poppe, his Auntie Coco (bunny ears and all!) and his Great-Grandpa: Pop, his Great-Grandmother: Susan, and his Great-Uncle: Brian... and not to mention the excitement of seeing the gifts that the Easter Bunny surprised him with...Kash had a blessed first Easter with those that love him the most, both at the M4 and back home in Tomball!

Now back to reality....today's reality is dog grooming to remove the hundreds of stickers that Gunner and Sis decided to bring home as mementos in their fur and many much needed naps for baby Kash (and maybe Mommy too!)

Love to all!!
